Rare Vintage 1970's Wonder Bread Cobalt Plastic Shelf Topper Advertising Pop Art
Beautiful Pop-Art inspired Wonder Bread shelf topper, these were given to the supermarkets to line the shelves. Very few have made it to private hands as most of them were justdestroyedthrough heavy commercial use.
Very nice vintage condition, no chips or cracks to the plastic. Plenty of marks, scuffs, scratches and discoloration from cleaning can be seen all over the shelf topper, all typical of age and use.
A few spots of adhesive traces still remain, weleft this piece as-is to avoid doing anymore damage by cleaning with solvents. This piece could use a professional cleaning.
The shelf topper is approximately 22" in lengthand 8.5" in width with a 1.25" shelf fold-overreturn. The plastic is just a hair under .125" in thickness.
