Rare Vintage 1940s Domino Sugar Splint Oak Pie Basket Carrier Pie Safe w/insert For Sale

This vintage pie basket is a rare find from the 1940s. It's made from splint oak and was originally used to transport pies safely. The basket features a woven pattern and a square shape, with a natural color that fits perfectly with a farmhouse style. It comes with a hook and eye closure to keep the contents secure. The basket is in good shape and has some breaks on the bottom splints. There is a darker area on the lid and handle. I cleaned the whole basket with Murphy's Oil wood soap. This is what it is.
