Rare US Defense Trident System USS Ohio SSBN 726 Submarine Lucite Desk Display For Sale

Up for your consideration is a very very rare presentation Lucite Desk Display given out by the United States Department of Defense to commemorate the launching of the Trident Missile Ohio Class Submarine on 28 Oct 1981. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This has been displayed in my office for many years. Always a conversation piece. It’s beyond rare. It was presented at the US Naval Submarine Base Bangor Maine. This piece is beyond rare and maybe a one off display. I feel there might have been around 10 presented but this maybe the only one that ever surfaces for sale. It has two bronze coins at the top and the submarine in the middle. It is heavy for its size.
