Here we have both a positive/negative mortality death plates of Ordovician trilobites from Tafraoute, Morocco. There are a bunch of trilobites on the plates with one the 3d positive shell and thr other negative impressions. These sort of mass death plates capture natural events such as sudden mudslides, storms, or oxygen depletion in ancient Paleozoic seas that trapped and preserved numerous marine arthropods all at once during the same event/location. While Morocco is known for its fake specimens, all trilobites on these plates are hand inspected and guaranteed to be authentic. These rare and awesome trilobite death assemblages make a great gift for any fossil collector and a great display addition to any fossil collection, shelf, or cabinet of curiosities.
Look at photos closely for size and condition.
