Stunning and rare antique Sterling silver candle snuffer with an elephant and a monogram of the letter R probably for Republican or the republican party. It is in amazing condition. The tail of the elephant has a little bend to it, but I think that\'s the way it was made. It is marked Sterling, so it is very early. It has a corkscrew handle.
The monogram of the R is only on one side. The backside is blank. This is amazing. Early political republican party memorabilia and is sterling silver. I\'ve never seen one like it in all my years of collecting, so it is certainly rare an unusual candle snuffer and political item!
