Rare Pair Antique Hubley Lancaster Pa Cast Iron Painted Duck Childs Doorstop Toy For Sale

For sale we have a pair or set of two rare original 1920's Hubley Lancaster Pa. cold hand painted cast iron standing Ducks Child's Door Stops, Figurines or Paperweights. These could also, and probably were, used for toys also. Both these beauties have their original paint that's still vibrant and glossy. We would say that both have 85% plus paint retention. They definitely have the look and cuteness factor. The ducks look very near matching with some slight differences in the castings. Both examples are approx. 4 1/2"in height. We truly like the multicolored life like painted feet. We see on both examples some overall paint flakes on the bills along with the highpoints on the head and on the tucked in wings. There also is a flick or two on the tails. We also see some underneath base oxidation. We pictured these areas on both examples for accuracy. There are absolutely no paint touch ups. We feel these are in excellent condition for there intended use and age. These pair of ducks are fresh to the market, and they are completely untouched and original. These were purchased together and we feel they should stay together for there next journey. This listing is for both the cast iron ducks. These ducksare fresh to the market examples and great survivors in original used condition. The ducks are excellent examples that are very worthy to be added to many different collections.
