"Cottage by the Lake" is a rare 1929 vintage calendar salesman sample print by W.M. Thompson. W. (William) M. Thompson (1893-1967) had a short but prolific career as a commercial artist. Beautiful western landscapes, snow covered countrysides and mountain scenes are examples of some his work.
"Cottage by the Lake" is 13.5" x 21.5" in overall size and 10.75" x 14" in image size. The image is in excellent to mint condition. The decorative calendar has paper loss damage to the underlayment in the upper and lower right corners and edge wear on the upper and lower left corners. The calendar is for January 1929 only. Please use the included photographs as a condition guide.
