Subject is PFC Arthur J. Bouchard, to be Corporal of Battery B, 3rd Field Artillery in the regular army. DATED JANUARY 7, 1918, STILL DURING THE WAR TIME. Possibly it was a field promotion based on meritorious service??
ISSUED IN FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS. Document is signed by the Colonel of the 3rd Field Artillery.
