This Imperial Topaz crystal comes from the famed Tepetate area of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. This crystal was self-collected by my Uncle about 45 years ago. He wrote in his collection notes: \"there are 3 maindomes of the San Luis Potosi volcanic field. The dome that produced this coveted sherry colored topaz crystal comes from theCerro El Gato dome\".This beautiful example is fully terminated on 1 end.This specimen demonstrates unusual clarity.This pristine crystal is as clear as glass. Experts describe thecolor as a very light sherry.
