This listing is for an embossed, brass doorknob, bearing the logo of the New York, New Haven, & Hartford Railroad. The knob has been mounted onto a dowel and then display board with a provenance label that states that the doorknob was sourced from Union Station in Hartford, CT.
This is an incredibly unique piece of railroad history.
6.5" x 4.25" dimensions of the board.
2.5" diameter of doorknob.
Overall very good condition. Signs of light surface wear, including patina and tarnish from age. No major distress on brass. Some signs of light surface wear on decals and wood with provenance info. Item as pictured.
