This very rare Lonagberger Basket is in a blue/slate stain and marked 2005. Blue stain is difficult to find, so you may want to snatch this one up before it is gone! This color was done for patriotic celebrations and charity iniatives.
The company traces its roots back to 19th-century basketmaking in Dresden, Ohio. J.W. Longaberger originally crafted sturdy "ware baskets" used to transport local pottery.
