This flute is almost 100 years old and historical flute. It is a great collectable flute. It is best investment and no cracks! Gets sold very soon!This concert flute is my family\'s collection investment.
Short history of J.Mollenhauer ( Fluda ):
German family of woodwind instrument makers . Johannes Andreas Mollenhauer (bFulda, 31 Aug 1798;dFulda, 30 Aug 1871), who probably learnt instrument making in Munich, Linz and Pressburg, established a workshop in Fulda in 1822. He was later joined by his two sons, Gustav (bFulda, 7 Feb 1837;dKassel, 18 Dec 1914) and Thomas (i) (bFulda, 22 Feb 1840;dFulda, 1 July 1914), and the firm became known as J. Mollenhauer & Söhne. In 1864 Gustav founded his own firm at Kassel, which passed in turn to his two sons, Thomas (ii) (bKassel, 21 Feb 1867;dKassel, 10 July 1938) and Johannes (bKassel, 20 April 1875;dKassel, 22 Feb 1950). At the end of the 20th century this firm was still operating under the name Gustav Mollenhauer & Söhne, specializing in double-reed instruments, especially contrabassoons....
