The carving is a SUPER rare early vintage Northwest Coast Eagle mini tribal Totem mask (4.25" X 4" Wide) signed in pencil by George Hunt Jr. There is another pencil that reads KWAKIU L 2 (?) I honestly can't make it out for sure. The artist belongs to the Kwakwaka'wakw tribal affiliation and is handmade. It represents Native American culture and is a unique collectible item. This piece is a piece of history with provenance and cultural significance, making it a valuable addition to any collection or display of Native American art and artifacts. It looks ALMOST quite like anEagle Carving on Worthpoint. I don't have a subscription, so I can't see what it sold for. Provenance is UNKNOWN. Question? Please ask.
