The mottled, hand-blended glaze was created to simulate the look of majolica pottery popular in that period, combining chartreuse green and raspberry-rose over a raised brown scroll design.This exact shape, #407, is pictured and identified in Mark Moran's reference book Warman's Roseville Pottery (page 30), which also names these colorways "chartreuse" and "raspberry."Condition: Excellent for its age. No chips, cracks, or fleabites. There is crazing to the glaze on both the interior and exterior, which is expected and common for pottery of this age and is not a defect. One spot on a scroll motif is finished in clear glaze rather than color — this occurred during original manufacture and is not damage. A 4.5-5” nursery pot would fit best.
