Ultra Rare U.S. Maker Powder Flask, 7.75\" OAL, excellent condition showing a mellow age patina, light surface wear, no dents. Riling #355 with top #48. Top area cap stamped in a ribbon, \"FRARY, BENHAM & CO.\", Has a Shell and Bush Motif on each side. Muzzle marked DRAM with measurement 4 slot markings, (2\" to 2.75\"). Great working piece.This Company had an extremely short Production Window from 1855-1857 out of New Haven Connecticut. Since these were made before the American Civil War, these stamped flasks are quite scarce, and even more difficult in this condition.
