This is a highly decorative, Italianate wall barometer composed of barometer parts. It is made of silver and gold gilded wood in an open work design. Measuring 38” tall and 15” wide at its widest part, it is a beautiful addition to a foyer or hall where it pretends to render weather forecasts. Its decorative trims are bows, orbs, folds, and acorns.
