RARE Antique Royal Doulton Isaac Walton Ware Fishermen Vase Signed Noke circa 1905This small but powerful vase features four fishermen panels around the outside underneath a willow tree border. Doulton backstamp on bottom. IFor a 100 plus years old piece, it is in very good condition! The iem has no cracks or chips top to bottom. Minor discoloration inside bottom. Normal crazing and light scratches on top of one fisherman panel ( see enlargement).
Designed and signed by Charles J Noke for Royal Doulton's 'Isaac Walton Ware' range. Isaac Walton Ware was introduced in 1905 and is decorated with a series of images based on Izaak Walton's work 'The Compleat Angler', first published in 1653.
