This is a rare Georg Fischer (+GF+) made in Switzerland malleable cast metal pizzelle/waffle/cookie iron. Makes beautifully stamped traditional patterned wafers, cookies and small thin waffles. Has 8 unique Swiss regional cookie designs (4 on each half) including classic cultural figures and folklore legends (Alpine Ibex, Edelweiss, Swiss, Cross, etc.), identifying it as a rare and authentic patriotic/cultural heirloom-style Swiss Brezeleisen. Likely made around 1900, this is gently used for its age with no obvious rust or damage - Model 273 is a highly sought after collectible item which will become the centerpiece of your collection.
