Rare Vintage 1936 "Invisible" Cigar Holder with Original Leather Sheath – Pat. 2048626

Up for sale is an exceptionally rare piece of American tobacciana history: an authentic, 100% original 1936 Invisible Cigar Holder complete with its rarely-surviving original fitted leather pocket sheath.

Invented by Thomas R. Schlitz of Hillside, New Jersey, and officially patented on July 21, 1936.

One side of the early hard-plastic thumb grip is crisply stamped "INVISIBLE CIGAR HOLDER", while the reverse side clearly displays "US PAT 2048626".

Condition Report:

This item is in excellent vintage, preowned condition given its 90-year age. The lettering remains perfectly legible. The metal spike is sturdy with minimal surface wear and no major oxidation.
