Antique real photo postcard (RPPC) from the early 20th century showing an everyday family moment in a farmhouse yard. A mustached gentleman in a dark three-piece suit stands with his hat in hand beside a smiling young woman in a long light skirt and belted shirtwaist blouse. She is holding a barefoot baby in a white gown. Behind them is a covered porch with columns and a railing. Chickens are scattered across the tall grass, and a partial figure appears at the edge of the frame. The candid, informal pose and rural setting give it a lot of charm.
The image is printed in warm sepia tones with a wide cream border on real photographic postcard stock. The photo runs sideways on the card, which suits the landscape composition. The divided back reads "POST CARD" and has the CYKO stamp box logo, which is consistent with cards produced about 1904 to the 1920s. The card is unused, with no postage, postmark, or message. The people and location are unidentified.
A nice addition to a collection of RPPCs, early American family life, rural or farm scenes, or vernacular photography. It would also work well for display or mixed-media projects. The card measures approximately 5 3/8" wide, which is standard postcard size.

Condition:Good vintage condition for its age. There is overall age toning to the front border and back. The upper-left corner has light wear and a small bend. The top edge has faint smudging and soiling, and there is a tiny dark speck in the left border. The image is softly focused, as is typical of snapshot RPPCs of the era, with good contrast overall. The back is clean and unwritten, apart from a small old dealer price penciled in the upper right corner. No tears, no creases through the image, and no album residue observed.
