From Richard Nixon's Law Firm of Nixon, Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, & Alexander (Mudge, Stern, Baldwin & Todd) sent to Robert L. King of Hillsborough California expressing his fortunes and enjoyment practicing Law in New York. He also mentions "Loie" and "Rose" sitting in his office as he penned the letter. Rose Mary Woods served as Nixon's secretary from his days in Congress in 1951 through the end of his political career in 1974.

Loie Grace Gaunt, was the longest tenured and oldest surviving member of Nixon's staff, whose career of service to Pat & Richard Nixon spanned over 70 years.

Robert L. King served as then Vice President Nixon's Assistant from 1955 to 1957 under President Eisenhower's Administration, and remained a close personal friend to the Nixon family. King's most famous correspondence with Nixon came on November 4, 1976, two days after the election of Jimmy Carter, in the form of a former colleague, and close friend, in expressing how proud he was of him as a leader of the country, and for being a loyal friend. King famously wrote "Time will only emphasize the great job you did for this great nation". That letter sits in the Nixon Library, planned, and dedicated by Loie Grace Gaunt.

This piece of Presidential history ties threeof Nixon'sclosest friends/supporters together in one letter. Rose Mary Woods, Loie Gaunt, and Robert L. King.
