The solid brass pole and canopy have a light patina to keep a bit of their age on display (see closeups), while still looking clean and pretty.
The glass shade is gorgeous with a frosted finish and clear glass that show the floral and ribbed details quite well.No chips or cracks in the glass - just a couple of teeny "flea bites" on the edge and some tiny marks here or there, all of which aren't noticed when in use.
The 3 chains that hold the shade can be adjusted to the hanging height you desire and then clipped.As shown, the total height is about 33 inches, and you can shorten the chain by up to about 3" if needed.

The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning and buffing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation. He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art. We are certainly proud to have acquired his amazing collection, as we also restore and sell antique lighting and love to share it with all of you who want true antique pieces that have historic personality in your homes and buildings.
