The interior lid artwork is clearly marked:

“Title & Design Registered and Copyrighted 1922 by McKee-Marks Cigar Co., Ottumwa, Iowa.”

This is an especially attractive early example with graphics covering nearly the entire box, including the large Yellow Cab automobile image on the lid, matching interior lithograph, illustrated end panels, repeating Yellow Cab border graphics, and original paper covering throughout.

Also retains its original Series 1917 U.S. Internal Revenue 50-cigar tax stamp. Combined with the copyrighted 1922 artwork, this firmly places the box in the early 1920s.
