Charming vintage pair of frog and mushroom bookends featuring dimensional frogs seated among oversized mushrooms, leaves, grass, and flowers.
The bookends have an antiqued brass-tone finish with dark recessed detailing that beautifully highlights the sculptural design. Their whimsical woodland styling works especially well with cottagecore, dark academia, nature-inspired, and eclectic décor.
Marked S.C.C. on the reverse. These appear to be hollow cast metal with a brass-tone finish—not represented as solid brass. A matching example is described as dating from approximately the 1960s–1970s.
