RARE RETIRED BETHANY LOWE DESIGNS TD6022
A wonderfully macabre and exceptionally hard-to-find retired Bethany Lowe Designs Halloween collectible, featuring a witch riding atop an enormous skeletal cat.
This is Bethany Lowe Designs model TD6022, confirmed by the original barcode label still present on the underside. The piece also retains its original Bethany Lowe Designs hang tag, copyright label, and Made in Philippines label — excellent details for the serious collector.
The composition is spectacular. A wonderfully sinister old witch rides astride a towering skeletal cat, leaning forward while carrying a dimensional black lantern. Her wonderfully expressive hand-painted face features Bethany Lowe’s characteristic vintage folk-art styling, with a long crooked nose, rosy cheeks and mischievous expression.
Her costume is loaded with detail: a tall distressed black witch’s hat with orange band and feather embellishment, flowing black robes with an intentionally aged finish, orange-and-black striped stockings, lace-up boots, and a rope tied around her waist.
And then there’s the cat.
The oversized skeletal feline is the centerpiece of the design, with a wonderfully exaggerated skull, enormous hollow eye sockets, individually sculpted teeth, exposed rib cage, long skeletal legs, oversized paws with black claws, and an extraordinary curled bony tail.
The aged ivory coloration, dark detailing and distressed surface treatment give the skeleton the appearance of an antique Halloween decoration pulled from another era.

This rare retired piece presents beautifully and is in very nice pre-owned collectible condition.
Bethany Lowe designed this piece with a deliberately distressed, timeworn finish. Rubbed and chipped-looking areas, irregular coloration, antiquing and visible wear effects throughout the witch’s clothing and skeletal cat are part of its vintage-inspired folk-art appearance.
