RARE Pre-Columbian Nariño Bowl Human Pedestal-Colombia.
An unusual pre-Columbian ceramic bowl attributed to the Nariño culture, featuring an exceptionally interesting open pedestal base incorporating modeled human/anthropomorphic figures.
The bowl has a deep rounded form with a dark burnished surface. Beneath the vessel, the pedestal is formed with multiple sculptural figures positioned between the bowl and circular foot. The openwork construction and human imagery make this a particularly distinctive display piece.

Measurements: Approximately 4 inches high x 6 inches diameter
