RARE Original 1960s East African Airways Poster Amboseli Kilimanjaro Elephants For Sale

Rare Original 1960s East African Airways Poster - Amboseli National Park ElephantsThis is a remarkably rare, authentic original vintage travel poster issued by East African Airways (EAA) circa the mid-to-late 1960s. This specific piece features a stunning design highlighting the elephant herds of Amboseli at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It is an important European contract print variant, sourced directly from the private estate of a former commercial pilot and dedicated aviation collector.Provenance & Authenticity:

• The Pilot Connection: Sourced directly from a professional pilot's private archive. These posters were often collected by crew members during the "Golden Age" of the Super VC10 era.
• Swiss-Contract Printing History: Unlike the standard regional variants printed locally in Nairobi by AERAD, this specific design was printed directly in Switzerland. This serves as an exceptional cultural artifact highlighting EAA's international route expansions into continental Europe during the mid-century aviation boom.
• Educational Backside Text: The reverse side features a beautifully preserved, multi-lingual educational essay (printed in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese) regarding elephant behavior and wildlife preservation in Amboseli National Park under Mt. Kilimanjaro, produced in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund.
