This is a lucky survivor. A great reference for home restoration or architects looking for authentic tile glazes to replicate. This is wooden sample box containing 47 ceramic tile color samples from Gladding, McBean & Co.'s Franciscan Hermosa line sits open to display its contents.
47 total samples. All included. The empty slots are not missing colors. The label shows 47 different samples. No visible damage to tiles. The tiles measure approximately 1.5" x 1.5". The set includes wall glazes, crystal glazes, and decorative liners.
The wooden case shows wear consistent with age. A small white label hangs from the lid. These boxes were used by salesmen to present available colors and textures to customers for projects such as backsplashes, coasters, or mosaics.
