RARE postmarked 1920 Halloween postcard by Ellen Clapsaddle - with EARLY PROHIBITION advertisement on back for GREEN SEAL BEVERAGE. Up to 1919 it was Green Seal BEER - but when this 1920 ad came out the brewery had to pivot to a non alcoholic beverage to obey the brand new USA Prohibition laws...Buckeye Brewery changed name to Buckeye Producing Co.
