RARE Antique Woodrough & McParlin Panther SawThis saw was my grandfather's and was part of his everyday tool kit. He gave us his tools just before he died in 2006 and we never thought much about them. One day my wife cleaned out the garage, saw the neat design, and just by chance looked it up on the internet. Pretty sweet little discovery!
It's by no means perfect. Has some scrapes, a break line in the thin part of the handle, a missing screw. But still, pretty sweet tool. The blade measures 16". Hard to read the stamp on it, but my guess is "1860" or thereabouts. Etching on blade is readable.
