RARE Antique Schafer & Vater Porcelain Creamer Pitcher, Blue Bear, 1900\'s For Sale

A rare porcelain creamer pitcher. I believe it to be by Schafer & Vater. Schafer & Vater were makers of small ceramics and are best known for their amusing figural depictions. The factory was located in Volkstedt-Rudolstadt, Germany from 1890-1962. Some pieces are marked with the crown and \"R\" mark but many are unmarked. The creamer measures 3-5/8\" tall and it\'s 3-3/4\" from spout to handle. It\'s stamped on the bottom \"Made in Germany\" and there\'s a very faint incised marking that I can not make out. I can see it with my loupe. It\'s in excellent antique condition. There\'s a tiny spot on the handle where the glaze is missing. This happened during manufacturing. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. Please look at all pics and ask questions prior to buying. Thank you for stopping by!
