Here is a fabulous 1920's/30's floor lamp shade, made of stenciled metal mesh with stamped brass edge trim. It measures
9.5" high by 18" wide at the bottom and 12.5" wide at the top. The metal fitting for the finial in the center is marked "Sandel"
They are a contemporary of Rembrandt and some say they actually made the Rembrandt shades. This shade is in lovely
condition with stenciling of mauve and turquoise which is highlighted by applied glass mini beads. The colors are very soft
and pleasing. It is made of brass screening and has a brass ribbon edge on the top and bottom which has an ornate
pattern in it. It is in excellent condition. The only small issues that I see are a small black dot near the top edge and a
1" pale smudge in one spot. A rare find. The shipping cost may look a little high but it is going to take an over-sized box
to get this to you in perfect condition.
