Embossed with \"IDEAL\" vertically on the main column and \"ELITE MFG CO\" with the official patent date \"PAT. MAY 12, 1908\" on the handle arm, this heavy-duty screw/bevel-gear ratchet jack was originally produced for early automobiles like the Ford Model T, Dodge, and Buick, and the early motor buggies.
