The Robeson-Rochester Corporation (1922-1965) manufactured this sleek Art Deco cocktail shaker (model # 29850) in the 1930s at their factory on 12 Saratoga Avenue in Rochester, NY.
Hard to find in decent condition due to its lighter chrome body, the Royal Rochester features three black-enameled \"race rims\", and a stepped top culminating in an octagonal bakelite finial.
11.25\" tall and 3.75\" in diameter. This cocktail shaker has been in my personal vintage barware collection since the early 1980s and has been very well cared for. It is in excellent vintage condition with exceptions noted.
Pricing for this cocktail shaker varies widely. It has sold for as high as $900.00 on 1st Dibs (with the strainer missing), and is listed currently on one site in lesser condition for around $400.00 (also with the strainer missing).
