This is a highly sought after 1954 Hopalong Cassidy Black Aladdin Lunch Box and Thermos Set. \"Hoppy\" related memorbrilia as well as vintage lunch boxes and thermoses remain very collectible due to their nostalgic appeal.
CONDITION:
Note: Due to the condition of the lunchbox the listing is mostly priced based on the nostalgia, and on the great conditon of the hard to find thermos with all its componets, intact glass, and the artwork that matches this particular Hopalong lunchbox. This thermos has its original cup/cap and stopper (which is very unusal), and the interior glass is intact! For its age, the thermos is in great condition, very little signs of rust and artwork is intact and clear! The lunch box is a different story and has seen some hard times over the past 7 decades. There is rust present, a dent on the back bottom corner area, the handle is missing, and the interior is clean with the exception of some rust being present.There is a very old & interesting sticker on each side of the box. I purchased this set about 40 years ago in this condition,displaying it my home along with several other very old lunchboxes and thermoses. This box\'s artwork displays well from the back side vs. the front (clasp) side of the box as there is more rust present on the front vs. the back.
