RARE 1933 De Long Sewing Process Charts Set 3 New Deal NRA Blue Eagle VTG Notion For Sale

Offered is a RARE matched set of 3 original De Long Hook & Eye Company salesman sample/display 3-D boards featuring Hooks & Eyes, Snaps, and Safety Pins based in Philadelphia with manufacturing in St. Mary\'s Ontario, Canada. These educational sale displays were used to demonstrate the quality and manufacturing of De Long sewing notions to retailers and customers and each board shows samples of real metal hardware that is largely intact. Each board retains its colorful original graphics along with mounted sample hardware, real attached product components, and the famous advertising slogan \"See that Hump\" from the late 1800\'s. These red and white displays from the 1930\'s are seldom found as a complete group and make an outstanding addition to any collection of sewing memorabilia, haberdashery, mercantile advertising, or early American advertising displays. For history buffs they feature the NRA Blue Eagle Logo from the New Deal of the Great Depression stating \"NRA member--U.S.--We Do Our Part\". They display beautifully and are rare wonderful conversation pieces.
Condition - All 3 16x14\" boards show some light staining, edge and corner wear and one board is missing a single sample piece. They were rescued from an old storage box and had not been stored flat. I have done some light cleaning and they could be flattened out if the customer desired. One sheet is not attached to the backing. Two of the safety pins (included) have come off the board but everything else is amazingly still attached.
