- Royal Service: He served as the primary mount for the event from 1949 to 1956, carrying King George VI before being preferred by the Queen.
- 1953 Events: Just nine days after carrying a police commissioner during her coronation procession on June 2, 1953, Winston carried the Queen for her official birthday parade on June 11, 1953.
An older relative has been a Royal Watcher since birth.
