An attractive purple fluorite on quartz specimen from the Second Chance Mine in Tombstone, Arizona. Measuring approximately 3.8 × 2.6 × 2.4 cm, this specimen features purple fluorite crystals contrasting nicely against a sparkling white quartz matrix. Several larger fluorite crystals dominate one end of the specimen and display particularly rich, deep purple coloration. Across the remainder of the piece, the fluorite transitions into lighter lavender tones, creating noticeable variation in color throughout the specimen. The combination of deep purple fluorite, lighter lavender growth and bright quartz makes this an attractive small specimen from this classic Arizona mining district.
