Condition Notes
Unused. Factory Rockwell sticker still on the blade — that is Puma’s hardness test, not a store tag. The small dimple under it is the test mark. Factory edge. Stag is natural and will vary. Sheath is original and shows only light storage on the hide. No original box. Knife and sheath only. What is pictured is what ships.
Description & History
Puma cutlery has been a Solingen name since the 18th century. The Hunter’s Pal II is the compact full-tang hunter in that line — 440A stainless, factory Rockwell-tested to 55–57, stag scales fitted by hand, leather sheath. Catalog number 118397 is on the blade and on the back of this sheath.
Later Puma fixed blades were made in Spain. This piece is marked Solingen Germany. The sticker and unused edge are why it is listed as unused, not as a carried hunter.
