This striking vintage wall piece pairs delicate pressed botanicals with an exceptionally ornate antiqued gold & black metal frame. A softly faded blush colored flower rests against a dramatic black background, surrounded by a halo of tiny golden-yellow flower clusters that make the composition appear almost illuminated.
The oval frame is crowned by an elaborate dimensional ribbon bow, with trailing rose and leaf garlands connecting it to the floral medallion below. Additional flowers, pierced scrollwork and finely beaded borders continue around the frame, creating a richly layered piece with romantic old world pressed flower botanical composition

Condition Details
The metal frame shows age-related scratches, patina, darkening and scattered loss to the gold-tone finish. The pressed flowers have naturally faded and dried over time. The large central flower has dark spotting and small areas of botanical loss, while fine dust, fibers and loose natural fragments are visible beneath or against the glass. The black backing and rear hardware show surface wear. The glass appears intact, and no major breaks in the ornate metal frame were observed.
