Description: This card depicts the "Father of Trees" at Trees of Mystery on the Redwood Highway in California, a massive redwood tree with no fewer than twelve separate trees living and growing from its trunk. The sender writes of traveling through Oregon and visiting caverns, then driving through the redwoods — noting they were big and impressive. She mentions swimming at a motel the night before and plans to head to San Francisco for a few days before returning home, promising to write more after dinner.
