THIS ITEM WON\'T LAST!This is a very rare double ashtray that was produced by RumRill in Ohio during the limited time in 1939 when the two lower case reversed rr was incised on the bottom. This mark was used to indicate the short time RumRill was produced at the Shawnee Pottery Company in Zanesville, Ohio. This low production transition piece was made right after George Rumrill left Red Wing Pottery in 1938-1939. There are not many of these ashtrays that are still left in the world and especially one in this perfect condition. This clearly marked H-22 ashtray features a sleek art deco linear design, an ashtray on both ends, and a compartment in the middle to hold cigarettes. It is in excellent condition and does not have any chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. It has a little tar mark where a cigarette was once placed, however, this should clean up just fine (pointed out in one of the photos.) Dimensions are 7.5 wide, 3¾” wide and 2\" high.
