My grandparents traveled around the world on the American President Lines S.S. President Monroe in 1953. They bought this postcard in Manila, wrote out their greeting, and then mailed it to my mother in Chicago when they stopped in Hong Kong. It has a $1 Hong Kong stamp on it, cancelled in Hong Kong September 17, 1953.
