Up for sale is a beautiful pair of vintage Japanese Geisha / Maiko musical performer display dolls (Oyama Ningyo). These stunning figures feature hand-painted composition faces, elaborate traditional hair styling, and vibrant silk/gold brocade kimonos.
• Doll 1: Seated flutist doll (approx. 10.5" tall) in a gold/pink brocade kimono sitting on a blue-and-white ceramic barrel stool.
• Doll 2: Standing drummer doll (approx. 12" tall) holding a traditional tsuzumi (shoulder drum) wearing a brilliant yellow and red kimono.
• Condition: Both dolls are in excellent, clean vintage condition with no stains, tears, or fading to the fabrics.
• Display Cases Note (PLEASE READ): Both dolls come with their original wood and glass display cases. However, one case is missing its top wood lid panel and the 4 tiny screw hole covers. The other case is 100% complete. This lot is sold "As-Is" to account for the missing lid, making it a great fixer-upper project or a perfect set to display out of the cases.
