Provenance & History
These gorgeous fixtures were recently sourced directly from a beautifully remodeled rustic cabin in Craig, Colorado. The previous homeowners noted that these lamps were safely installed and fully operational in the home when they moved in, working flawlessly up until they were carefully removed for an interior redesign. They are perfect for injecting rich warmth, history, and a striking Southwestern, alpine cabin, or rustic hacienda aesthetic into an architectural space.
Artisan Quality & Identification
Each light features an intricate, hand-pierced pattern of stylized flowers, stars, and geometric accents that project mesmerizing light and shadow play across a room when illuminated. The scalloped bottom frame is beautifully accented with applied golden brass flower details. Notably, both fixtures retain their original soldered internal maker’s plate reading “ARTESANOS MEXICO” alongside vintage Underwriters Laboratories (UL) incandescent safety stickers.
Condition Note
Both lamps are in excellent, structurally sound vintage condition with a gorgeous, naturally developed aged copper patina that collectors highly covet. The wiring is intact and was verified working by the previous owners, featuring ample cord length ready for hardwiring or adapting into plug-in swag lamps. As with all vintage lighting, having the wiring inspected by an electrician prior to final installation is recommended.
