Beautiful pair of Chinese polychrome enameled porcelain court official statues, each measuring approximately 17.5” tall.
The companion figures are richly decorated in vibrant multicolored enamels with traditional dragon and phoenix motifs, stylized clouds, florals and other decorative elements. Each official is depicted wearing an elaborate patterned court robe, red hat and long black beard. The two figures feature different decoration while coordinating beautifully as a pair.
Both statues bear a red Qianlong-style mark on the base. Marks are noted for identification only and are not intended to indicate Qianlong-period manufacture.
Both figures have a slightly backward-leaning stance, with one leaning somewhat more than the other, as shown in the photos.
Measurements: Approximately 17.5” tall each.
Very good vintage condition with age-related glaze crazing and minor wear consistent with age and display. Please review all photos closely for condition and details, as they are part of the description.
Sold together as a pair.
