Here is a wonderful faux stained tiger maple frame set or pair , these are mitered construction with a wooden slat at the corners to keep the joint tight as you can see , very well made , the grain is strong , not sure if its a paint or more like a wash , to me its more or less a stain overall size is 12.5 x 16.5 and opening is 10x14 , these where done by a folk artist sometime in the 20th century , there perfect for any primitives or folk collector !
