Fantastic pair of antique Victorian traveling campaign inkwells, recently recovered together from a local historic estate.

Left Inkwell: Wrapped in dark brown tooled leather. The outer lid hinges open cleanly, and the internal spring-latch mechanism pops open perfectly. Internal glass is removable and in perfect clean and uncracked condition.
Right Inkwell: Features an elegant, hand-painted or stenciled Art Nouveau gilt floral motif on the brass. The internal spring mechanism latch works great. However, note that the hinge connecting the outer dome lid to the main body has snapped. The lid can still sit perfectly on top for display, and it is a very straightforward solder repair for anyone handy with basic metalworking tools. The internal pressure cap is also missing. The internal glass ink pot is present and appears to be in good condition, although it is stuck in place and I didn't want to risk cracking it to force it out.
Overall Condition: Authentic age patina throughout. No cracks to either glass insert. Leather shows standard scuffs and surface cracking from long-term storage. Sold as a pair, with one needing a minor hinge repair.
