Original U.S. Army wool field uniform consisting of a Jacket, Field, Wool, OD and matching trousers. The jacket retains its original Phoenix Clothes Co. contract label dated March 6, 1946, and is marked size 38R. The uniform is configured with Corporal rank insignia and a SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) shoulder sleeve insignia. Both jacket and trousers show normal age and service-related wear consistent with military use and long-term storage. This is an original post-World War II U.S. Army uniform set with strong display appeal and historical interest. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and represent the exact items being offered.
This is an original historical artifact from the Second World War era, and therefore shows natural wear and tear resulting from age and regular use during the period.
