PLATINUM #3776 CENTURY LAUREL GREEN 14K DOUBLE BROAD NIB FOUNTAIN PEN For Sale

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Platinum Fountain Pen in the Laurel Green color with gold plated trim. I have serviced the pen by cleaning it and is now in wonderful writing condition.
I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. I have hand-polished the clip, cap banding, and 14K nib. This Platinum Fountain Pen is model #3776 that measures 5 3/8\" capped and 5 7/8\" posted.
The Cap has a Gold Plated Clip and has been polished bright. The clip displays some very low edging at the bottom of the clip. The gold-plated cap banding displays no wear and is stamped, \"CENTURY #3376 PLATINUM MADE IN JAPAN\". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel.
The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no nicks, cracks, damage, or repairs. The cap secures tightly to the barrel. There is a brand new Platinum Ink Converter for this pen and works as it was designed to in my tests with water.
The nib on this Platinum Fountain Pen is a 14K Double Broad nib with iridium measuring roughly 1.24mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a Medium/Broad to Broad/Double Broad stroke/line. In the writing sample provided, the Medium/Broad measures at .89mm and has some flex to 1.23mm when I measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink. The nib on this fountain pen writes very smoothly - it is a fantastic bold, wet writer!
I would consider this Platinum Century 3776 Laurel Green model to grade in Very Fine to Excellent Condition only because of the little wear that is displayed on the lower edge of the clip. It is ready to write or just add it to your writing arsenal collection.
